The Diamond "12"
With a ten element reflector the Diamond "12" has high back rejection,
and improved forward gain, but still retains the wide acceptance angle at 58 degrees
to half power points which is useful where more than one transmitter is available within these points.
As an add-on unit with low weight and windloading, it can be added to an existing steel mast of 1.5" to 2" in diameter.
Alloy masts should be avoided as Galaxies have relatively high windloading compared to television aerials.
2" scaffold grade aluminium or 16 gauge steel is more suitable, and not likely to work harden and snap.
